Vadai and BBQ??? hhehe....

The holidays are over and its back to work for most people. I had a great week, my mother came back from Malacca on Thursday. She brought my sister and her 2 children to KL. It was a surprise visit, I’m glad they came because I was feeling lonely. My sister and her children kept me company and we had a good time.

I took them to Darthvadai’s BBQ party on Saturday. The children really enjoyed swimming in the pool. I had a hard time getting them out of the pool as I recall. The children kept asking if they could swim again later part in the evening but I didn’t allow them, because they had to go back to Malacca the following day and I was worried they might catch a cold.

I met Amoi’s ex-husband… very nice guy and her children. I was surprise that most of the invited IRC guess turned up. Recky was all dressed up in his maroon baju melayu looking… emm… *have to say it with a French accent* “Very Nice”. Everyone wished “Abang Rat” Selamat Hari Raya but no one had any duit raya la!!! Ehhehe. Raya smooch got la!! Heheh *wink*. Recky had to leave early because of work... but still so glad he joined us!

I went swimming when everyone got out of the pool heheh…*shy* I quietly sneaked into the pool when everyone else wasn't looking and busy eating.. heheh. The water was cold… but I love it! I am looking forward to go swimming again..yehaww!! This time hope to swim with vadai and amoi.

Debra *my sister* and Azie enjoyed the delicious BBQ chicken that was prepared by Chef Vadai and Chef Amoi. The food was great.. I tasted everything but the prawns…sorry la.. I’m allergic to it! I bet it was nice too. Azie made Egg sandwiches, I wanted to make a pie but i dont have an oven so instead I made mash potato and sweet corn bomb... hehe. unfortunately I wrapped the sweet corn on the wrong side of the foil again... lucky only the first one burned. David Lee and his sotong.. I wonder what he marinated it with... it had a Tom Yam Flavor. David wrapped his chicken on the wrong side of the foil and it burned too... Maybe we should all go for a Foil wrapping course.

My niece and nephew made sure they could come again and swim. They asked permission from the right people even…heheh. The next morning they insisted we go again because Uncle Vadai and Aunty Amoi said “Can”!.. heheh. My sister enjoyed herself at the BBQ and she said "Thank You for making her feel so welcome!". Next time I plan to take her go to Beach club!!

I think the host and hostess did a wonderful job with the BBQ.. AGAIN! heheh *clap clap clap* The next one will be at my place… Date and time… yet to confirm ok. I will keep you guys updated its either 10th December or 7th January 2006… emm you guys decide la… if everything ok.. then the party is on!! Ok!

The Party..

Last minute planning… only devilangle is good at that!! And only she can make it happen!! Heheh… what was going to be my most boring day turned out very eventful.

As soon as I popped in IRC there she was chatting with everyone as usual and to my surprise Lacy was there too! I just mentioned to her if she is coming for the party what I meant was the Saturday night BBQ get together at darthvadai’s place. Then Lacy says “What party??” somehow twisting and turning and in the main channel it became MY party!! Heheh. So ok.. I played along.. then devilangle suggested we go to Beach Club and have my party there…heheh. At first I thought it was a joke but ended up a reality.

It was a last minute decision but the response was good… Devilangle, Iwor, Lacy, Ant and TheDeath showed up. Poor Rat couldn’t make it, darthvadai still in klang making vadai’s and tosai…eheh and if Cleo was here too…heh! We would have painted the club red!! heheh.

It was nice to see Lacy again.. she is looking great and happy.. that’s good and nice to finally meet semut! Lacy left early because she had to work the next day.. it’s ok hope to see you soon!

It was fun hanging out with you guys.. I especially enjoyed seeing TheDeath singing and dancing to The Pussy Cat Dolls-Don’t cha! The guys got lots of moves!! Heheh Hope he joins us again next time!.. heheh. Since darthvadai was not here… TheDeath had to wear the “NO!!!! I’m NOT their PIMP!” t-shirt…heheheh… a few guys were looking at him..heheh. He also caught some HOT sexy girls attention too!!.. he was drooling all over the place! Cuci mata with the ice cubes…. Heheh.

The new bad “Fiesta” was not bad la.. but they were a bit too loud! and that special guess DJ… heh! He sux! I don’t like his music.. prefer the Club house DJ! I personally enjoyed the Drag show it was so entertaining.. heheh DeepaRaya special ..heheh.

Anyway.. after The Party! we had supper outside Beach then went back home… around 4am I think! Went back online to do a head count and see if everyone reached home safely… then went to bed after a nice cold shower.

*yawns* Feel like sleeping some more now… its raining here, don’t know what to do this evening.. no plans yet!… until my next entry adios!!

ICE Breaker!!!

I went out with Azie on Monday.. her colleagues organize a buka puasa dinner at Titiwangsa Seafood restaurant. Only 8 of us showed up. The place was packed as usual. The last time I was there was like 6 years ago when I was still with my previous company.

Everyone at the table was very shy I guess, Azie introduced me to her friends and they introduced themselves. There was this one malay guy introduced himself as Boy, he was nice enough to serve the food to everyone. The funny thing happen I guess he knew I was the only non Muslim there and since everyone was talking to me in English he wanted to speak in English too, as he offered he said.. “Tuzi nak udang??, Roza nak udang?? Azie nak Udang?? Marie you want scorpion??” hahahah… I started to laugh because it was so funny… the other girl looked at him and said “ Aper benda scorpion?? Prawns la!!” hehehe…. he blushed for a minute then he said he forgot what Udang was in English. That was really an ice breaker… after that everyone started to interact more and it turned out to be a lovely evening.. food was great although I couldn’t eat the crab and scorpion… ops!! I mean prawns..heheh.

Hey we should all go there one of these days they have buffet also… BBQ stuff, satay.. lot’s of desserts… yum yum… wanna go??
