Misfortune (A Song I wrote 14 years ago)

A Mother cries...tears fall like rain,
she brings life into this world,
it brings her joy.. full of grace,
she closes her eyes,
grateful she prays,
alone she prays,
in a soft meloded tune.

Mother cries.. tears fall like rain,
she sings a song to the one she loves,
Oh.. it cant be ignored,
for all she wants is her love in return,
Proudly she prays,
alone she prays,
for a long life ahead.

within a flash her love is lost,
taken away,
oh.. the pain is breaking her heart,
no more she prays,
in that soft meloded tune,
when a mothers cries tears fall like rain.

Mother sings her last lullaby,
she closes her eyes and says goodbye,
sadly she gaze for the last time today,
no more pain,
now no more she'll pray,
no more she'll praise,
A mothers cries.. tears fall like rain.
